For the past 20 years, I've been a fulltime Florida Licensed Massage Therapist, practicing in Miami; specializing in Advanced Clinical and Sports Injury Massage Therapy for treatment of non-medical acute to chronic musculoskeletal orthopedic conditions, pain management and relief, functional movement and postural corrective specialist, stress management and relaxation education. I've been blessed with the opportunity of working in both the entertainment and health industry; blending two of my personal passions, the performing arts and the healing arts.
I've devoted over a decade working exclusively with elite athletes in the performing arts, giving me a unique perspective, understanding, knowledge and clinical experience working with mild to moderate non-medical dance and performance related injuries. Professional athletes require a unique and sport specific approach to treatment and maintenance, physically, emotionally and mentally, to maintain an optimum level of performance, health, longevity, and most importantly remain injury free. Which is why I consider Massage Therapy and its many different modalities, like Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy to be the perfect complimentary form of conservative treatment for improved performance and injury prevention for any conditioning and wellness program.
Mastering, yet always continuing to learn new innovative research based clinical modalities and traditional methods in the healing arts, has been and will always be my passion and dedication.
